Who
This brochure spoke to avid golfers in London Ontario, including members
of the area's most prestigious golf clubs.
What
The Oaks offered the opportunity to participate as equity owners of a
championship-level course designed with a unique mix of links-style and
"stadium" layouts..
Why
Since the course was still under construction, the prospectus folder
had to convey the overall quality of play it would offer and introduce
the developer's concept of a club that gave playing members an ownership voice in its
management.

A Course for Players
The Oaks is a full Par 72 championship course
built on the sandy banks and bluffs above the Thames River valley near
Delaware, Ontario. Its 150 acres occupy an ideal site for golf, offering
unusually mixed topography with excellent grass-growing conditions.
The upper 9 holes recall a traditional links: wide open, heavily contoured
fairways drawn by deeply grassed roughs and waste bunkers... As you
enter the lower valley coming home, the look changes dramatically. The
fairways level out to a more North American style as mature stands of
oaks begin to challenge your sharpshooting ability.
